New Team Member!
As we step into 2025, we’re thrilled to introduce the latest additions to our growing team. These individuals are key to supporting our goals and driving innovation across all areas of the business.
We’re excited to welcome Jon Best to the Hoverdale team! Jon will be stepping into the role of managing our site fitting teams throughout the UK, taking responsibility for key areas such as handling tickets, overseeing RAMS, and ensuring smooth on-site operations. His top priority is team safety, ensuring all health and safety training is up to date and adhered to. Jon will also focus on allocating the right engineers to the right jobs to maximise efficiency and minimise downtime.
Jon brings over two decades of extensive experience to the role, including:
- Operations management across industries like chemical, tunnelling, power, steelmaking, waste, utilities, and aggregates (quarrying, concrete, asphalt).
- Expertise in planning, organisation, and execution of daily tasks, large shutdowns, and preventive maintenance.
- Strong focus on health and safety, including SSOW & RAMS, PUWER, COSHH, LOLER, and safety auditing.
- Quality auditing with ISO-9001 and driving continuous improvement and business development.
- Technical knowledge in conveyor systems, belt fitting, jointing, wear protection, and spillage control, with a vast understanding of rubber and other materials for different applications such as chutes, green underbands, hoppers, screen decks, and vessels.
